1. Introduction and acceptance of these terms

These Website Terms & Conditions (the Terms) apply to your use of the website at www.hillingdonhomecare.co.uk (the Website). The Website is operated by Hillingdon Home Care Ltd (we, us or our).

By accessing or using the Website, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

These Terms apply only to use of the Website. They do not form a contract for care services and do not replace any assessment, care plan, service user guide, written care agreement or other document that may be provided if we agree to deliver care.

2. About us and our services

Hillingdon Home Care Ltd is a CQC-registered domiciliary care provider. We provide or may provide, subject to assessment, availability and agreement, services including Personal Care, Dementia Care, Live-In Care, Companionship Care, Medication Support, Respite Care, Mental Health Support, Sensory Impairment Care, Physical Disabilities Care, Meal Preparation and Hospital Discharge Support.

We serve Hillingdon, Hayes, Ruislip, West Drayton, Southall, Harrow, Northolt, Uxbridge, Yiewsley, Cowley, Ickenham, Eastcote, Pinner, Hatch End and Greenford, and may consider enquiries from nearby areas.

Information about our services on the Website is general information only. The services we can offer in an individual case will depend on a suitable assessment, the person’s needs and preferences, risk and safeguarding considerations, staff availability, location, funding arrangements and a written care agreement where applicable.

3. No care agreement or guarantee of service

Nothing on the Website, including a description of a service, a response to an enquiry or a discussion with us, creates a contract for care services or guarantees that a particular service, carer, date, time or level of care will be available.

Before providing regulated care, we will follow the appropriate assessment, planning, consent and contractual processes. The terms of any care service will be set out separately in the relevant written agreement and care documentation.

4. Using the Website

You may use the Website for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes, including learning about our services and making a genuine enquiry.

You must not:

We may suspend, restrict or end access to the Website where we reasonably consider that these Terms have been breached, or where necessary to protect the Website, our users or our business.

5. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, all intellectual property rights in the Website and its content, including its text, photographs, graphics, logos, branding, layout, documents and downloadable materials, belong to Hillingdon Home Care Ltd or our licensors. All rights are reserved.

You may print or download a reasonable number of pages for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you do not remove copyright, trade mark or other proprietary notices and do not modify the material. You must not use our name, logo or branding without our prior written permission.

6. Enquiries, calls and contact forms

The Website may allow you to contact us by form, email or telephone. Please provide accurate contact information and only provide information that you are entitled to share.

Submitting a form or making an enquiry does not create a care agreement, establish a duty to provide services, confirm eligibility, confirm capacity or guarantee a response within a particular period. We will use reasonable efforts to respond to genuine enquiries, but may be unable to respond immediately or to offer services.

Please do not use the Website or email for urgent medical, safeguarding or emergency matters. In an emergency, call 999. For urgent medical advice that is not an emergency, use the appropriate NHS service, such as NHS 111.

7. Third-party websites and links

The Website may include links to third-party websites or resources for information or convenience. We do not control, endorse or accept responsibility for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, products, services or accuracy. Your use of third-party websites is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Accuracy, availability and information on the Website

We take reasonable care to keep Website information accurate and up to date. However, information may change, contain errors or become out of date, and we do not guarantee that the Website or its content will always be complete, accurate, current, available or free from errors.

Website content is provided for general guidance only. It is not medical, clinical, nursing, legal, financial or other professional advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified professional. Always seek advice relevant to your individual circumstances.

We may change, suspend, withdraw or restrict all or any part of the Website without notice. We are not responsible if the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hillingdon Home Care Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from or connected with:

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Nothing in these Terms affects any legal rights you may have as a consumer.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will be published on the Website and will show the date it was last updated. Please check this page when you use the Website. By continuing to use the Website after updated Terms are published, you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising from or connected with them are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law allows you to bring a claim in another court.
